Wacky Chemisty Camp

Your young scientist, ages 4-11, will love this chemistry camp!  Delve into the mysteries of science while doing cool experiments under the supervision of a chemistry teacher.  Campers will get hands-on experience using laboratory tools, measuring devices, safety equipment, a microscope, and safe household chemicals. Activities include: polymer properties, "bobbing bugs", acid-base reactions and many more. Safety goggles will be provided by the teacher. Participants will bring home a basic chemistry equipment kit, a certificate of accomplishment, and "recipes" that will allow them to recreate these "wacky experiments" at home. Campers are requested to bring a snack and an old shirt.  This camp can get messy.  Children 6 & under, must be accompanied by adult partner. Taught by certified science teacher, Mary Crum
