Free Quit-Smoking Program Offered In Warminster

The five-week program offers classes on Tuesday evenings. Participants can get free nicotine patches and other aids to help them.

WARMINSTER, PA — Doylestown Health Connections is offering a program geared toward helping local residents quit smoking.

"Clearing the Air: Quit Smoking Program," is a five-week class that will be held on Tuesdays from Sept. 25-Oct.23. Classes will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Health Connections by Doylestown Health in the Cowhey Family ShopRite in Warminster.

The free program is designed to help people quit smoking comfortably. They'll be able to learn about using the patch, nicotine gum, lozenges, inhalers, nasal spray, Wellbutrin and Chantix as ways to help quit.

Patches are included for free for those who attend a minimum of two sessions. The program is supported by the SEPA Regional Tobacco Project.
