Full-Time Firefighter Expansion Wanted In Warminster
Warminster Township seeks to add more full-time firefighters to its squad of three, who were added eight months ago.

WARMINSTER, PA —The township wants to expand its squad of full-time firefighters.'
After adding three full-time firefighters to its ranks eight months ago, the township is now actively recruiting professional firefighters for full-time employment.
Three full-time firefighters were hired last fall, ending a longtime dispute between the fire companies and the township's government.

The township's two fire companies —the Warminster Fire Department and Hartsville Fire Company —said in early May that the three newcomers are fitting in nicely.
"Fast forward to today. We're proud to celebrate the six-month milestone since the addition of three career firefighters to Warminster's Bravest!," the fire companies said.

The firefighters serve Monday through Friday, bolstering operations for both the Warminster Fire Department and Hartsville Fire Company.
The job comes with a starting salary of $65,000 per year ($31.25 per hour) with excellent health, dental, and vision insurance benefits; an employer-paid retirement plan benefit; and two weeks annual paid vacation.
