Following months of analysis, a consulting firm presented its findings at the June 2019 Board of Supervisors Meeting, the fire companies said.

The study affirmed that Warminster Township benefits from two highly skilled agencies with top-notch facilities and equipment.

Both fire companies maintain financial stability and a strong partnership.

Despite these strengths, the consulting firm identified four areas suggesting the need for Warminster Township to consider integrating career staff alongside volunteers.

"Fast forward to today. We're proud to celebrate the six-month milestone since the addition of three career firefighters to Warminster's Bravest!," the fire companies said.

The firefighters serve Monday through Friday, bolstering operations for both Warminster Fire Department and Hartsville Fire Company.

"From life safety inspections to public education and incident response, they're on the frontline daily," the fire companies said. "The collaboration between Warminster Fire Department and Hartsville Fire Company remains exceptional. Together, we train tirelessly every week, united in our mission for community safety. Our department has faced challenges with response times, particularly during weekdays due to distance and traffic. With career staffing, we're ensuring swift, qualified responses. And we're looking forward to additional efforts aimed at further improving our response times in the future. Career and volunteer personnel alike share a common focus: life safety, incident stabilization, and property conservation. Our union stands strong, driven by a shared dedication to service.
