Getaway Truck In 2 Armed Robberies Spotted In Warminster, Police Say
The armed robberies were reported Sunday. The clerk was assaulted during one early-morning incident, Warrington police say.
Warrington Township Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man they believe was involved in two armed robberies early Sunday, including one during which a clerk was assaulted. The suspect's truck was later located in Warminster.
According to police, the first robbery was reported at the 7-Eleven on Limekiln pike around 1 a.m. Then just a few hours later, around 4:30 a.m., the Sunoco gas station at Easton and Street roads was robbed.
"The same actor was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the employees of both stores," according to Warrington Police.

The suspect assaulted the clerk during the robbery at Sunoco, according to authorities.
The suspect was last seen getting into a gray Chevy pickup truck. That same truck was located a short time later in Warminster Township. It was unoccupied at that point. The truck had spray paint covering over the company name it was stolen from in July 2016, police said.
