Girl Scout Cookie Sales End Sunday In Philly Region
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania kicked off its 2026 cookie season in the Philadelphia region in January.
PHILADELPHIA — This weekend is your last chance to grab some Thin Mints and other favorite Girl Scout cookies.
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania will end its 2026 cookie season in the Philadelphia region on Sunday after the campaign was launched in mid-January.
The season was even extended for an extra week this year due to numerous winter snowstorms.

The cookie program is a critical fundraiser that provides invaluable experiences for Girl Scouts through cookie sales, such as projects, troop travel, and summer camp, officials said.
Since Jan. 15, local Girl Scouts across GSEP’s footprint have been working hard to reach their cookie-selling goals through booth sales and community engagement, officials said.

“Each year, we, and many of you, look forward to the Girl Scout Cookie season for many reasons,” said Kim E. Fraites-Dow, CEO of GSEP. “Of course, the cookies are delicious. But beyond the taste, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is a critical fundraiser that supports and sustains our mission at GSEP.”
All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.
This year, there was a new Girl Scout cookie.
That cookie is called Exploremores, a rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie. Filled with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème, Exploremores "reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout," the organization said.
