Girl Scout Cookie Sales Start In Philly Region

PHILADELPHIA, PA — You see them set up now outside of businesses, post offices, and other places where people show up on a regular basis on weekends.

Yes, Tis' the Season: It's Cookie Season.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania has officially kicked off its 2026 cookie season in the Philadelphia region.

From now through March 22, Girl Scouts will be selling boxes of Thin Mints and other popular cookies, including a new one this year.

That cookie is called Exploremores, a rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie. Filled with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème, Exploremores "reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout," the organization said.

"The cookie program is a critical fundraiser that provides invaluable experiences for Girl Scouts through cookie sales, such as projects, troop travel, and summer camp," the organization said.

Everyone can purchase their favorite Girl Scout cookies as always. The full assortment of Girl Scout cookies include:

• Adventurefuls™  
• Exploremores™  
• Lemonades®  
• Trefoils® (formerly known as Shortbreads)  
• Thin Mints®  
• Caramel deLites®  
• Peanut Butter Patties®  
• Peanut Butter Sandwich   
• Caramel Chocolate Chip (gluten-free)  

A box of cookies costs $6 each for all varieties and $7 for Caramel Chocolate Chip (gluten-free).

“Each year, we, and many of you, look forward to the Girl Scout Cookie season for many reasons,” said Kim E. Fraites-Dow, CEO of GSEP. “Of course, the cookies are delicious. But beyond the taste, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is a critical fundraiser that supports and sustains our mission at GSEP.”

All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.

• If you don’t know a Girl Scout, check with your local council or use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder by entering your zip code. There you can find a troop selling at a nearby booth, or you can purchase cookies to be shipped directly to you from troops nationwide.
