Greater Jamison Business Association Breakfast Seminar Slated for June 17 - Presentation topic: “The Ins and Outs of Employment: Creating a high performance organization and managing unemployment exposure”
The Greater Jamison Business Association will hold its monthly breakfast seminar on Tuesday, June 17 from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. at The Manor at York Town, 2010 York Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Special guests Liz Graham of Monogram Advisors and Hilton Hill of the Department of Labor and Industry will discuss how to increase an organization's performance and manage unemployment. Graham and Hill have served in various roles as human resources professionals and have over 40 years of combined experience in multiple industries.
The program is open to both member and non-member business professionals. The cost is $15 for non-members. Members and first time guests are free. Reservations should be made in advance by emailing info@gjba.org.

Liz Graham excels at creating positive and productive workplaces through effective leadership coaching and sensible employee relations practices. Her broad knowledge and experience with multiple industries ensures that clients receive practical solutions that fit their needs.
Liz’s technical expertise includes compensation and benefits design, performance management, employee relations, policy development, regulatory compliance and leadership development. She has provided both strategic and tactical HR services at the Director level within corporate settings where she managed HR, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Training, and Payroll functions for twenty-five years. As part of the management team of Harleysville National Bank from 2005-2010, she led an HR team that was responsible for up to 1200 employees and partnered with the business to deliver high quality service. After the merger with First Niagara Bank, Graham formed her own company to bring strategic HR consulting to small and mid-sized businesses. She is experienced with sensitive employee relations issues and start-up HR functions, where she aligns HR services with the business in environments of change and limited resources.
Liz earned her degree from Bloomsburg University, and has SPHR and CCP professional designations. She is certified in administering DiSC behavioral assessments. She is a member of the Philadelphia Society for People and Strategy, Bucks Connect, Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group, SHRM, and WorldatWork. She has been an appointee to the Pennsylvania Bankers’ Association advisory committee, and is a guest speaker on current HR topics for professional groups. She is the mother of two Penn Staters and lives in Warrington, Bucks County, PA.
About Hilton Hill:
Hilton G. Hill has been an employee of the Department of Labor and Industry under the branch of Unemployment Compensation for over 20 years. Hilton has extensive experience with unemployment compensation issues. His initial position was that of an Unemployment Compensation Interviewer which led him to be promoted to an Unemployment Compensation Examiner. In this position Hilton is required to write nonmonetary decisions in accordance with the appropriate law. During his employment as an Unemployment Compensation Interviewer and Unemployment Compensation Examiner, Hilton has been called upon to represent Unemployment Compensation as a part of the Rapid Response Team during times of mass layoffs or short term layoffs.
Hilton currently serves as the Workforce Development Representative and acts as the liaison between the PA Careerlinks and the Unemployment Compensation Service Center to assist employers and claimants with their Unemployment Compensation and Reemployment issues. Hilton currently serves Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties. Prior to his employment with the Department of Labor and Industry, Hilton worked in the private sector and served in the U S Air Force.
