Help Warminster Boy Scout Retire Old Flags

Collection boxes for old, worn and damaged flags have been set up throughout the township.

WARMINSTER, PA — A candidate for Eagle Scout in Warminster is asking for your help to honor and properly retire old and tattered U.S. flags.

Grant Rokuski, from Warminster Boy Scout Troop 139, is a candidate for Eagle Scout. To earn the rank, scouts must lead a project, and Grant has decided to collect old, worn and damaged American flags to properly retire them.

As such, collection boxes have been set up throughout the township. When the flags have been collected, Grant plans to hold a flag retirement ceremony at the local VFW hall.
