A storm soaked Lower Bucks County with heavy rain and high winds on Tuesday.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Heavy rains Tuesday soaked sections of Lower Bucks County over the past 24 hours as officials and authorities worried about the ramifications of additional flooding due to rising creeks and rivers.
Numerous communities reported flooding which caused road closures and two-hour delays for most school districts Wednesday morning.
Officials and law enforcement were also monitoring the expected flooding of the Neshaminy Creek and the Delaware River.

Here's how much rain fell in Lower Bucks County over the past 24 hours, according to the National Weather Service:
- Bristol, 2.36 inches
- Croydon, 1.83 inches
- Holland, 2.94 inches
- Ivyland, 2.47 inches
- Langhorne, 2.46 inches
- Levittown, 1.7 inches
- Neshaminy Falls, 2.35 inches
- Delaware River at Washington Crossing, 2.75 inches
- Warrington, 3.91 inches
- Yardley, 2.11 inches
The forecast for today is for brightening skies with a high temperature near 50. It will be breezy with a west wind 15 to 25 mph. Overnight it will be partly cloudy with a low around freezing.

On Thursday, expect sunny skies with a high near 46.
The next storm is forecast to move into the area on Friday evening with a 100 percent chance of rain on Friday night.
The weekend is looking great with partly sunny skies on Saturday and a high near 55 and mostly sunny skies on Sunday with a high near 36.
