In other school district business:

Students in several schools were decked out in pink at the Pink Out pep rally, where students and staff came together to cheer on the Fall sports teams and show support for a cause bigger than the game.

The Pink Out theme added special meaning to the day.

By wearing pink, Klinger Middle School and Willow Dale Elementary School students and staff stood in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, showing that school spirit and compassion go hand in hand.
