Knifepoint Robbery, Student Threats Top Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May.

WARMINSTER, PA —A knifepoint robbery, a high school student's threats, and a dog bite violation are among the criminal incidents released by the Warminster Township Police Department in its blotter for May.

These are the criminal incidents:

Driving Under the Influence —Officers were dispatched to an accident at Bristol and Mearns Road and a 26-year-old woman was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Related Offenses.

Threats —Officers were dispatched to William Tennent High School for a report of an unruly student making threats to security and staff. Security had the student detained. Officers placed the student under arrest for terrorist threats and related offenses.

Public Drunkenness —A 40-year-old male was walking on Evergreen and observed by officers to have an unsteady gait, upon stopping the male it was determined that he was intoxicated. The man was cited for Public Drunkenness.

Robbery —Officers were dispatched to Christ's Home for a report of a robbery. A 25-year-old man held a person at knifepoint and attempted to take their vehicle. The man continued to another vehicle and a pursuit began. Officers pursued the man into Montgomery County where an eventual foot pursuit ensued leading to an arrest. The man was arrested and charged with numerous charges. The man was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Illegal Purchase of Firearm —Warminster Township Police received notification from PA State Police that a 28-year-old man was trying to purchase a firearm at Sportsman Warehouse, and due to his criminal history, he is not allowed to own a firearm. The man was charged with the sale or transfer of firearms, and Unsworn Falsifications to Authorities.

Dog Bite Violation —Animal Control responded to the area of Olive Street regarding a dog bite. A 66-year-old man advised that the dog was his granddaughter's. After failing to quarantine the dog for 10 days, the man was cited for detention and isolation of the dog.

Criminal Mischief —Police responded to Keystone Freedom Academy for a report of a disorderly student damaging property. The 14-year-old woman was charged with criminal mischief.

Retail Theft —Police responded to The Wine and Spirits shop on Street Road for a report of retail theft. An 18-year-old woman was charged with Retail Theft, Resisting Arrest, and numerous charges after a foot pursuit.

Disorderly Conduct —Police responded to Kid's Empire for a report of a civil dispute. A 66-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct for disrupting a children's birthday party.

DUI —An Officer observed an Acura swerving in traffic while driving on Street Road. The vehicle was stopped, a sobriety test was conducted, and the Officer determined that the 61-year-old driver was Driving Under the Influence. Charges are pending due to blood alcohol results.

Public Drunkenness —While on patrol, officers observed a 38-year-old man passed out on the sidewalk in Warminster Community Park. The man was transported to his residence and cited for public drunkenness.

Harassment —The complainant spoke to an Officer about being assaulted at the Wawa in Warminster. The complainant advised that when he was filling his bicycle tires with air, a 44-year-old male Assaulted him with the air hose. The 44-year-old man was cited for harassment.

Simple Assault —Police officers responded to the Red Stallion bar for a report of a disorderly person. A 32-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The man was charged with Simple Assault, Public Drunkenness, and numerous other charges.

Public Drunkenness —Officers received a call to check the well-being of a 59-year-old woman walking in the area of Louis Drive. The caller stated the woman was unsteady on her feet and stumbling. The Officer stopped the woman and determined that she was intoxicated. The woman was cited for Public Drunkenness.

Robbery —Officers were dispatched to Countyline Road for a report of a robbery. The victim's vehicle was taken at gunpoint. Bensalem Police stopped the stolen vehicle that was involved in an incident and the driver was transported back to Warminster Police Department. The 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with Robbery, Receiving Stolen Property, and numerous other charges.

DUI —Officers responded to County Line and Centennial Road for a report of a one-vehicle accident. The driver, a 24-year-old man, and his passenger were not injured. It was determined after a field sobriety test that the male was driving under the influence. The man had drugs in his possession and was arrested for DUI and numerous other charges.

Disorderly Conduct and Harassment —The officer responded to Keystone Freedom Academy for a report of a student who was out of control. The 14-year-old boy was placed in an in-school suspension but left the room and started to destroy school property. He was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.

Public Drunkenness —Officers were dispatched to Tidal Car Wash for a vehicle that had been there for two hours. When officers arrived, the 57-year-old woman attempted to drive from the car wash. The female was visibly intoxicated, and Officers cited her for Public Drunkenness.
