Lane Closures, Delays On Worthington Mill Road This Week

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Drivers should expect delays and lane closures in nearby Northampton Township for work on Worthington Mill Road, PennDOT said.
Workers are scheduled to install a high friction surface treatment (HFST) on Worthington Mill Road in Wrightstown and Northampton townships from Monday to Friday.
Motorists can expect lane closures and delays from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Worthington Mill Road between Route 232 (Second Street Pike) and Swamp Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

The installation is designed to provide increased friction and grip on pavements in wet and dry conditions.
The work is part of the $4.5 million project to replace the Worthington Mill Road bridge over Neshaminy Creek, which was substantially completed on Dec. 20, 2023.
