WARMINSTER, PA —Log College Middle School has been ranked among the top 35 percent of middle schools in the state in a recently released 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, school officials said.
Centennial Schools Superintendent Dana T. Bedden said the school was given the "prestigious distinction" in the U.S. News Best Middle Schools category, a recognition that underscores the "outstanding educational experience Centennial School District and Log College Middle School provides its students.
The U.S. News Best Middle Schools rankings are based on several key factors, including academic performance, student-to-teacher ratios, and state math and English language arts assessments. Log College Middle School’s placement among the top 35 percent of schools statewide reflects its commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting student engagement, and providing a well-rounded education for all its learners.

"We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which was on the heels of the school meeting and exceeded 100 percent of Pennsylvania Value Added Assessment System (PVAAS) targets. This is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our students, staff, and the entire school district and Log College community.," said Bedden and Log College Middle School Principal Pat Golderer in a joint statement. "Our team continuously strives to create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive, and this recognition reaffirms our collective commitment to excellence in education."
