Lower Bucks Co. Lawmakers Launch Re-Election Bids

Lawmakers are seeking signatures to get on the ballot for the May primary election.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The races for the May 19 primary election have begun.

Several Lower Bucks County lawmakers have launched re-election bids as they head out into communities and hold events to secure signatures to get them on the election ballot.

Among the candidates who have recently posted petition-signing events or videos of their re-election campaign bids are State Sen. Frank Farry and State Reps. Joe Hogan, Brian Munroe, and Kathleen "KC" Tomlinson.

"I’m running for re-election because there is more work to do," Hogan said in his re-election announcement. "I fought for our community since day one, and with your help and support, I’ll keep fighting for our families in Harrisburg just like I fight for my own."

State lawmakers have to run for re-election every two years.

Munroe, a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives serving the 144th Legislative District since 2023, was among the first in Lower Bucks County to announce his re-election bid.

"I’m running for re-election as your state senator because our work isn’t finished," State Rep. Frank Farry said. "With your support, I’ll keep showing up, listening, and putting our community first."

State Rep. Perry Warren and State Sen. Steve Santarsiero recently held a petition signature drive.

  • State Rep. Brian Munroe represents the 144th Legislative District, which covers 65,208 residents in Warminster Township, Ivyland Borough, Warrington Township, and a portion of New Britain Township.
  • State Rep. Kathleen "KC Tomlinson represents the 18th Legislative District, which includes Bensalem Township and Hulmeville Borough.
  • State Sen. Frank Farry represents the 6th Senatorial District, which covers Bensalem, Lower Southampton, Middletown, Northampton, Upper Southampton, Warminster, Warwick, Warrington, and Wrightstown townships and the boroughs of Hulmeville, Ivyland, Langhorne, Langhorne Manor, and Penndel.
  • State Rep. Joe Hogan represents the 142nd Legislative District, which covers Lower Southampton Township and parts of Middletown and Northampton townships, along with the boroughs of Langhorne, Langhorne Manor, and Penndel.
