Warminster Drug Operation Busted, Leaders Held On $10M Bail: DA

The drug trafficking organization processed an estimated $8 million every week in heroin and fentanyl, the DA's office said​.

WARMINSTER, PA — Authorities in Bucks County have broken up a "large-scale" drug packaging operation in Warminster that produced an estimated $8 million a week in heroin and fentanyl, according to the District Attorney's office.

Authorities, acting on an anonymous tip, seized the suspected heroin and fentanyl and arrested 11 people after the multi-agency investigation on Cheryl Drive. The alleged leaders of the operation are jailed on $10 million bail. Nine others are held on $5 million bail.

State and local police, working alongside federal authorities, executed a search warrant on Tuesday and discovered the operation. The drug trafficking organization processed an estimated $8 million every week in heroin and fentanyl, the DA's office said.

At the residence, police found more than 130 pounds of heroin and fentanyl, $32,000 in cash, and records indicating the amounts of heroin and fentanyl packaged in the home. A fully-loaded silver Taurus handgun also was recovered, authorities said.

Authorities also found cutting agents used to dilute the drugs, as well as equipment used in the packaging process at 10 packaging workstations, the DA said.

Darieal Vasquez, 38, and Moises Rodriguez, 43, were arraigned before District Judge Michael W. Gallagher on felony drug charges. They each are being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $10 million bail.

Also charged are Luigi Ortega, 30, Delvin Perez, 36, Roberto Espinal, 46, Jose Luis-Morales, 45, Carlos Garcia-Perez, 33, Eleni Saturrie, 38, Yocasta Maria-Mercedes, 37, Nuris Martinez, 45, and Luis Torres, 31. They were jailed and bail was set at 10 percent of $5 million.

CBS 3 in Philadelphia reported Wednesday morning that agents in hazmat suits were seen at the home and that crews wearing the suits and gloves were seen carrying evidence out of the home.
