Man, 18, Caught With 2 Long Rifles Inside Warminster Gun Shop: PD

Warminster Police came upon the man inside the North York Road gun shop with the rifles in hand on Monday.

WARMINSTER, PA — An 18-year-old man is in custody for allegedly stealing two rifles, gun magazines and various types of ammunition from a township gun shop, police said.

Warminster Police responded to Bunker Gun Shop at 549 North York Road for a report of an audible rear door alarm at 2:41 a.m. on Monday.

Police officers checked the gun shop and other stores in the strip of stores when they heard a noise in the southeast corner of the building.

They came upon 18-year-old MD Aman Ullah, who was wearing black rubber-coated gloves and carrying two long guns, an FN SCAR 16S multi-caliber rifle and a CMMG MK4 5.56-caliber rifle, police said.

Ullah surrendered to police upon their commands.

He was ultimately found to have several other items from the gun store in his possession, including gun magazines and various types of ammunition. Police said he also had a hammer, a machete, and a knit mask in his possession.

During the investigation, officers found the rear steel door of the Bunker Gun Shop pried open and the security camera damaged. It was then found that Ullah attempted to make an entrance to the store by cutting a hole in the roof of the store, causing substantial damage to the roof and HVAC.

Ullah was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and theft by unlawful taking. Police did not reveal where Ullah resides.

Ullah was processed and arraigned before District Justice Chris O'Neill. Ullah was sent to Bucks County Prison on $750,000 bail with 10 percent.
