Man Accused In Attack At Big Heads Surrenders To Police

WARMINSTER, PA — A Jamison man has surrendered to police on charges of ethnic intimidation and assault. Police announced last week they were looking for Christopher Nathan Jones, 41, in connection with an alleged assault at Big Heads bar on July 18.

Jones, who police said asked the victim what country he was from, then told him to "go back to his own country" before assaulting him, has surrendered to Warminster Township police. He was arrested Sunday without incident, police said.

The victim suffered a "large" laceration to his head that required 14 staples to close. The victim also sustained a neck fracture, police said.

Jones has been charged with ethnic intimidation, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Jones was arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after he could not make bail, which was set at 10 percent of $200,000. A preliminary court date has been set for July 27.
