Man Assaulted Warminster Police In Bizarre Sunday Incident: Cops
A man who was violently throwing items at a Warminster Sunoco assaulted the responding officers by head-butting and spitting, police said.

A bizarre and violent situation unfolded Sunday morning at the Sunoco on East Street Road in Warminster, after a man threw items at employees and later assaulted the officers who attempted to take him into custody, police said.
Mohnad Ayman Baali, 20, has been charged with aggravated assault on police and related charges in connection with the incident, which happened shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Warminster Township Police were called to the gas station for a report of a disorderly man. When they arrived, they found Baali inside the store, throwing items around while the employees hid in a bathroom, information from police said.

Baali confronted the officers and refused to leave the store, police said. He then ran towards the area where employees were hiding while "screaming unintelligibly," police said.
When officers attempted to take him into custody, he became violent, police said. He punched, head-butted, and spit on the officers but was eventually taken into custody without injury, authorities said.

The officers suffered minor injuries. No customers were in the store at the time.
Baali was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 23, court records show.
