"The bar has a stone front and has been enlarged," Mike's Tavern said. "We have also made a number of improvements to the building, including enhancements to the banquet York and Street Rooms and banquet bar. Some items took a lot of work scrubbing, cleaning, or repairing."
Built in the year 1730, the original stone part of the building is one of the oldest in Warminster township. It is believed the attic is haunted by the ghost of a girl named Penelope. Known for many years as the Warminster Hotel, was originally petitioned “to keep a house of entertainment for travelers and their horses."
"Overall, we are very happy with the results," Mike's Tavern said. "Thanks greatly to the many kind words and special thanks to friends of Mike who made this happen."
