"Given what we have experienced over the past couple of years and the challenges we continue to face in public education, I believe we need common ground more than ever," Centennial Schools Superintendent Dana Bedden told Patch Wednesday.
" In 1947 Dr. King wrote about the Purpose of Education, where he asserted, 'Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction. We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education,'" Bedden said.
