National Education Summit Has Centennial School District Co-Hosting

WARMINSTER, PA —The Centennial School District will host an educational summit that will attract school districts from across the nation.

The school district is teaming up with Catalyst @ Penn GSE, and Nothing But Education for a national summit on Nov. 3-4. The summit will focus on Family & Community Engagement: Transforming Learning Through Voice, Culture, and Literacy.

"We are honored to be a co-host," Schools Superintendent Dana Bedden said at the school board's recent meeting.

The three education organizations will host the summit in Norristown and King of Prussia to bring superintendents and educational leaders from several education organizations representing 12 states. This summit is designed for educators to share their unique perspectives that impact how they educate students.

There will be a significant focus on innovation regarding:

▪ Transforming Leadership to Impact Literacy
▪ Innovative Digital Content and Curriculum
▪ Family & Community Engagement
▪ Student Voice
▪ District & School Culture
▪ Recruitment and Retention of Educational Staff
▪ Addressing Mental Health in Schools

Several leaders in attendance are former “Superintendents of the Year” from their respective states. Finally, a U.S. Department of Education representative will provide the closing keynote.
