New MBIT Director Hiring Soon; Assistant Director Also Leaving

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology getting new director and will interview for a new assistant director, Centennial school officials said.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology has vacancies in its top two administrative posts.

But MBIT and Centennial school officials said those openings won't last for long.

"We have no comment at this time, but an official announcement will be made in the near future," said Jeanise Dimitri, MBIT's coordinator of Communications & Technology.

MBIT has been operating with Thomas Seidenberger as interim director pending the appointment of the next director, Centennial Schools Superintendent Dana Bedden said.

Centennial school officials also confirmed that Assistant Director Stacy Pakula is also leaving.

"A search process will be done for another assistant director," Bedden said.

Flemming Godiksen, vice president of the Centennial school board, issued an update at Tuesday's meeting about a new director.

"We have a job offer to a new director," Godiksen said. "We won't disclose the name but he has agreed to a contract."

Godiksen said that Pakula had resigned.

MBIT, which is located on York Road in Jamison, is supported by the Centennial, Central Bucks, Council Rock, and New Hope-Solebury school districts.

It serves as the school of choice for students who are seeking to enhance their educational program with a highly relevant career and technical experience connected directly to the real world of business and industry.
