Warminster Township has two fire companies: the Hartsville Fire Company and the Warminster Fire Department.

Last October, township supervisors hired three full-time firefighters, ending a long-time dispute with both fire companies.

The firefighters work with the township's volunteer fire companies to help provide additional available fire and rescue personnel during the business day on Mondays through Fridays.

Township officials said at the recent supervisors' meeting that Fire Marshal Joe Venton will appear before the board to provide an update on how the new firefighters are progressing.
