New Warminster Steak 'N Shake Closed Due To Fire
Opened just Thursday, the restaurant will be closed "for some time" to deal with the damage, Warminster officials say.

WARMINSTER, PA — Just one day after it opened, the Steak 'N Shake in Warminster was shut down on Friday due to a fire.
It was unclear how badly the restaurant had been damaged or how long the location, at 380 W. Street Rd., would remain closed.
On Facebook, the restaurant confirmed it would be closed Friday. The cause of the fire was not immediately known Friday afternoon.

The home of the "Steakburger" had held a grand opening at the location on Thursday. Construction on the burger spot started in the spring, on the former site of Friendly's, and had originally been intended to be complete in the fall.
The early response in Warminster was positive. Earlier Friday, the Steak 'N Shake had posted on Facebook that it was not accepting phone orders because employees were so busy serving customers in the restaurant.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, there are currently about 628 Steak 'n Shake locations in the United States. It was founded by Gus Belt in Normal, Illinois, in 1934.
