NOVA Receives Donations from Danaher Lynch Family Foundation & Students at Our of Lady Grace School
Comfort items will provide support to NOVA clients during therapy
NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, is pleased to announce that it received a donation of comfort items for NOVA clients from the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation Scholars Program (DLFF.org) and students at Our Lady of Grace Elementary School, in Penndel.
The items, including bubbles, coloring books, and fidget spinners, will be provided to NOVA clients who are victims of crime or trauma to help provide a sense of safety, grounding, and control during a time of emotional distress. The comfort items also help reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and support self-regulation, making it easier for individuals to engage in the therapeutic process.
“Similar to NOVA, DLFF believes in investing in people,” said Kathy Shegda, Director of Educational Services,Danaher Lynch Family Foundation. “DLFF’s mission is to unleash the potential of people in our community. The DLFF Scholars at Our Lady of Grace learned how one small gesture like donating comforting items to someone who experienced a traumatic experience can make a lasting impact.”

“We are deeply grateful to the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation Scholars Program and the students of Our Lady of Grace Elementary School for their thoughtful donation of comfort items for our clients,” said Jee Soo Lee, Senior Counselor, NOVA. “These gifts offer a sense of care and comfort to those who are navigating the emotional pain and challenges that come with being a victim of crime.”
