Warminster Police are asking residents to remain vigilant after recent reports of vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles.
WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Township Police Department is warning residents to remain vigilant about vehicle safety after numerous reports of thefts from vehicles and thefts of vehicles.
Warminster Police said that small groups of thieves are targeting township streets in the middle of the night.
They pull on car doors until they find one unlocked and then someone becomes their next victim, police said.

Police said that motion-activated lights are not enough. Set your cameras to send an alert when there is movement on the property and call 911 if there is someone around your vehicles and home, police said.

The owners of these vehicles did not become victims because they took a few seconds to lock their car doors, police said.
