Perkins Property Expansion Planned In Warminster
The Perkins Restaurant on York Road closed in October 2023 after serving the township for 40 years.

WARMINSTER, PA —There's some activity going on at the former Perkins property.
Township Zoning Officer Mike Italia told Patch this week that the Perkins property should be going to the township's Planning Commission because its new owners want to do some expansion.
The expansion was approved at the Planning Commission's December meeting.

Italia had hinted that it could be another restaurant, but said that "it's anyone's guess."
Perkins closed abruptly one day after breakfast was served.
A sign on the door stated that the township mainstay —which first opened in 1983 —was "permanently closed" and directed customers to the Perkins at 1681 Grant Ave. in Philadelphia, which is operated by the same Warminster Perkins owners.
The property is listed as having 5,547 square feet and sitting on 1.36 acres.
