Philadelphia Phillies Fan Festivities For World Series Game 3

PHILADELPHIA, PA —Philadelphia Phillies fans return to Citizens Bank Park Tuesday for the team's first World Series home game since 2009. The team will play at home Wednesday and Thursday as well.

The Phillies go into Game 3 against the Houston Astros tied.

The Phillies have announced fan festivities at the ballpark before and during the game, which begins at vs. Houston Astros, 8:03 p.m.

• The Rally for Red October Bus will first arrive at Comcast Plaza at 11:15 a.m., where fans will be invited to sign the bus with “Go Phillies” messages, as well as receive postseason freebies including an exclusive cheer poster, and more.
• After its Comcast Plaza departure at 12:15 p.m., the bus will then make its way for the next hour through the streets of Center City. On board will be the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ball Girls, who will wave to fans along the way, before heading back to the ballpark in anticipation of the team’s World Series Block Party.

Here are the festivities:

10 a.m. —New Era Phillies Team Store opens until 4:00 p.m. (entrance on Citizens Bank Way) with official postseason merchandise available for purchase. Also available: the commemorative World Series program.

4:30 p.m. —World Series Block Party on Citizens Bank Way (no game ticket required). This three-hour pregame event features performances and music on the big postseason stage by Split Decision, DJ HBK and the Sixers Stixers Drum Line. More Phillies fun includes the chance to sign the Rally for Red October Bus, a giant Ferris wheel, bungee jump, 3D chalk art, face painters, balloon artists and so much more. Plus, there will be local food trucks and the Budweiser Bar.

• Also featured: a World Series merchandise trailer offering an assortment of official postseason merchandise.
• Two of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make a World Series Block Party appearance, near the Liberty Bell outside the Third Base Gate.

5:03 p.m. —All gates open. World Series Rally Towel and World Series Scarf for all fans.

6:45 p.m. — Phillies World Series Rally on the postseason stage on Citizens Bank Way (no game ticket required). Be on the lookout for the Phillie Phanatic and surprise guests as the Phillies rev up fans during a rally before Game 3 of the World Series!
7:20 p.m. —The introduction of the Phillies and Astros.

• All-Service Honor Guard.
• A large American flag will be unfurled by members of the United States military and Philadelphia police and fire departments.
• National Anthem & Ceremonial First Pitches: To be announced.

8:03 p.m. —Phillies vs. Astros game begins.

End of 3rd Inning —Geico Seats for Service: U.S. Army veteran Jake Baranik and U.S. Navy Petty Officer Jessica Wisniewski-Hagen will be recognized.

7th Inning —“God Bless America” will be performed by a quartet of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band.

Broadcast —TV: FOX with Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci, along with FOX Deportes; Radio: ESPN Radio, 94 WIP and WTTM 1680 (Spanish).

Online Auction —Bid on autographed items to benefit Phillies Charities, Inc. at phillies.com/auctions until November 7 at noon. Signed memorabilia includes a Bryce Harper helmet, J.T. Realmuto game-used alternate home jersey, a Chase Utley hat and more.

World Series Menu Offerings: Aramark, the award-winning food and beverage partner at Citizens Bank Park, will bring culinary innovation to the world stage with a special World Series edition of its Chef on the Road program as well as a new lineup of menu items.

• Crawford Dog: Two angus beef hot dogs split and griddled on a potato bun and topped with Crawford Bock bacon, onion jam, and yellow mustard. (Available in Diamond Club)
• Pumpkin Pie Cannoli: Cannoli dipped in white chocolate with crusted toasted almonds. (Available at Fall Classics, Section 139)
