Philly's American Paradigm Schools Gets $5,000 From Giant, Martin's Grocery Stores
The money was from a pool of $100,000 that helped 16 other Pennsylvania education foundations.

American Paradigm Schools in Philadelphia received several thousand dollars from Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets as part of the stores' participation in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
APS received $5,000 from the stores, while 16 other education foundations in Pennsylvania received funds as well, totaling $100,000 in donations.
The EITC program encourages eligible businesses to contribute to scholarship organizations or educational improvement organizations within the Commonwealth to receive tax credits and Giant/Martin's has participating in the program for over 10 years, the company said.
