Plow Hits Pole, Causing Downed Wires In Warwick Friday: PD
Police ask drivers to avoid the area, after a plow struck a PECO pole Friday morning.
WARWICK, PA — Police alerted drivers of downed wires and a road closure Friday morning in Warwick, after a plow reportedly struck a PECO Energey Company pole.
Mearns Road is currently closed between Sycamore Drive and Campus Drive, as of 9:51 a.m. Friday.
PECO is responding, and officials asked drivers to avoid the area. According to the energy company's outage map, about 145 customers are out of power right now in the entire Philadelphia area. There is no power outage incident listed for Warwick or Warminster as of 10:30 a.m.
