Police Presence At Centennial Schools Friday Following Threat

Warminster Police said the school district reported a potential threat against William Tennent High School that came through a phone call.

WARMINSTER, PA —All schools in the Centennial School District will have a police presence Friday following a threat made against the high school, police said.

The Warminster Township Police Department said Centennial's administration contacted them late Thursday after receiving a phone call from an anonymous person on a blocked phone number.

The anonymous person told administration staff that their William Tennent High School student had received communication of a potential threat to the high school on Friday, police said.

Police said the incident was directed only at the high school and that they are investigating any information received about the incident.

However, out of an abundance of caution, police along with the Upper Southampton Police Department will have a presence at all Centennial Schools.

The police departments take any and all incidents surrounding children and schools seriously and are seeking the public’s help regarding the incident.
