Pothole Fixes, Milling And Paving: Roadwork Roundup In Philly Region
PennDOT has numerous roadwork projects planned this week in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — PennDOT has plans for more pothole fixes this week, along with other projects in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Since Jan. 1, PennDOT District 6 has received over 6,025 customer concerns regarding potholes and has used more than 1,365 tons of asphalt across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Drivers are advised that periodic daytime lane closures and possible slowdowns will occur next week at the following locations:

Bucks County
- Almshouse Road, Warwick and Doylestown townships
- Bristol Road, Warminster, Warwick, Doylestown, and Upper Southampton townships
- Stoney Hill Road/Lindenhurst Road, Lower Makefield and Newtown townships

Upper Dublin Township
PennDOT has scheduled roadway construction on Fort Washington Avenue in Upper Dublin Township.
- Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will be in place on Fort Washington Avenue between Susquehanna Road and Meetinghouse Road.
Middletown Township
Construction will continue through April on Langhorne-Yardley, Woodbourne, and Ellis roads in Middletown Township.
The roadwork is part of a $10.9 million project to improve traffic congestion and safety on Langhorne-Yardley Road at the Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road intersections in Middletown Township.
Drivers are advised that a periodic weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Wednesday, April 1, through Thursday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:
- Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
- Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park.
- Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road.
Bristol-Oxford Valley Road/Bath Road
PennDOT will mill, pave, and perform utility construction will occur next week on sections of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and Bath Road in Bristol and Middletown townships, beginning on Monday.
- Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on sections of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road/Bath Road between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway).
