Rape, Child Pornography Arrests Top Warminster Crimes
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the period of July 8 through July 31.
WARMINSTER, PA —A rape, child pornography, and an unruly customer at a pizza place were among some of the criminal incidents handled by township police last month.

Theft and Receiving Stolen Property Arrest —Police investigated the theft of a package. After investigating, a 46-year-old Warminster woman was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
Retail Theft Arrest —Police were dispatched to the Giant Food Market located on Street Road for the report of a man who had taken some items without paying for them. Upon arrival, police found and arrested a 35-year-old Willow Grove man for retail theft.

Underage Drinking and Public Drunkenness Offense —Police responded to a disturbance. Upon investigation, it was found that a 16-year-old boy was intoxicated. He was located in a yard nearby during the investigation. He was charged with possession/consumption of alcohol under the age of 21 as well as public intoxication.
Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, Criminal Mischief, and Resisting Arrest —Police were dispatched to a local pizza establishment for a man who was causing a disturbance inside. Upon investigation, the 56-year-old Wheeling, W.V., man was being uncooperative with police. At one point, the man ran from the officers. After officers caught up, they attempted to take him into custody at which time he resisted. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with various counts of disorderly conduct and harassment, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
Assault, Evading Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance —Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of the 100 block of Jacksonville Road. After investigating, officers arrested a 39-year-old Warminster man with simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. The man was arraigned and taken to Bucks County Prison.
Theft and Criminal Trespass Arrest —Police investigated a theft by an employee from a local establishment on York Road. After completing the investigation, a 35-year-old Hatboro woman was charged with theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespass.
Child Pornography Arrest —Police conducted an investigation into the possession of child pornography by a 33-year-old Warminster man. Police charged the man with possession of the suspected child pornography and criminal use of a communication device.
Rape Arrest —Police conducted an investigation into possible rape of a woman by a man known to her. After investigating these incidents, it seems there were multiple instances over a period of time. A 55-year-old Warminster man was charged with the crime.
Public Drunkenness —Police responded to the area of Ivyland Road and Harper Road to check on a female who appeared to keep falling down while she was attempting to walk down the street. After investigating, the 58-year-old Ivyland woman was cited for Public Drunkenness.
Indecent Assault Without Consent and Harassment Arrest —Police were dispatched to investigate allegations of sexual harassment. Upon investigation, at least two victims were identified. All parties involved were teenagers. The accused male teenager was charged with indecent assault without consent and harassment.
Drug, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness Arrest —Police were dispatched to the area of School House Lane for a disorderly person. Police made contact with the 18 year old male from Warminster. Police ended up charging the male with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, Underage drinking, and Public Drunkenness for his actions.
Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Related Offenses —Police were dispatched to the Access Road next to the Giant Food Store for a possible struck pedestrian. After speaking with witnesses and reviewing video, it appears this started out as some type of road rage incident. A 76-year-old Warminster appeared to ram into another driver’s vehicle and as that driver got out, the 76-year-old man appears to back up his vehicle and attempts to try and run over the other driver. That impact caused the pedestrian to go airborne over the guardrail that was lining the road. After completing this investigation, charges were filed for aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, and other related offenses.
Driving Under the Influence —Police responded to the 1400 block of West Street Road for the report of a vehicle into a pole. Upon arrival, officers observed a White Buick up on the sidewalk that had struck a concrete pillar. Through investigation and observations, it was determined the 29-year-old Philadelphia man was intoxicated and or under the influence of a controlled substance. The driver was subsequently arrested for his actions.
