In the past fifty years that I have been reading and communicating with the spirit world the one specific thing I always try to pass onto those who I enlighten is don't give me any information prior to our reading, if a spirit comes through I will give you the message first before asking questions. I have found there are so many mediums out there who gather as much information as they can then they can draw a beautiful picture for the client.

While Im not saying all those who do that are fakes I actually saying to everyone, if you are going for a reading make sure you give no pertinent information right away, take off all jewelry that might give anyone a hint as to what or who you are.

Give yourself an open mind, and allow the reader to read.

With each of my readings I always give the same speech, I ask if you have ever had a tarot reading before, most say yes, then I tell them I do not read like other readers, I never read the tarot book that comes with the cards, do not ask me what the clubs, swords and so on actually mean, the energy is what I read, I ask them to please not give me any information until we are halfway through our reading. Then I ask if a spirit wants to talk is it ok with them. I normally go through about half the deck then start asking does this make sense? Then I remind them that my readings although I can see far into a future at that moment that my reading is for a year sometimes a bit before and a bit after. I remind them that they control their future and that what choices they make each day will change what future I have seen.

Remember your reading is about you! After you have justified that your readers is actually reading and not taking notes on you talking then ask your questions.
