WARMINSTER, PA —Rilling's Bucks County Bakery is ending its sweet run in the township after 88 years in operation.

"It is with heavy hearts that we announce our retirement and the closure of our bakery after 88 years of serving you with love and dedication," owners said in a Facebook post. "We are immensely grateful for the support and memories you've shared with us over the decades. As we bid farewell to our beloved bakery, we want to express our deepest gratitude."

The bakery's last day of business will be Saturday, March 2.

While the bakery is closing, owners said they would leave the door open to future possibilities and maybe return in a different form someday.

"We cherish the moments spent crafting delicious treats and being a part of your lives," they said. "Thank you for being a part of our journey. Wishing you all sweetness and joy in the years to come."

Eater Philadelphia ranked Rilling's as one of the top bakeries in Bucks County last December.

Eater Philadelphia said this about the bakery:

"Seasonal breads, pies, cakes, and cookies along with sweet breakfast treats of Danish and doughnuts make this suburban bakery one to visit," Eater Philadelphia said.
