Road Rage, Family Fight: Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for October.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for October, including a fight among family members and a road rage incident.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • Officers were dispatched to the CVS at York and County Line for an unknown problem. When officers arrived, they were told the vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident. The driver had followed the vehicle to the CVS because he didn't stop. When officers spoke to the 37-year-old man, he smelled of alcohol about him. The man agreed to Field Sobriety tests and failed. Central Bucks Ambulance responded and drew blood for testing. Blood will be submitted for testing. The male will be charged with DUI, Careless Driving, Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicles or Property, Driving on the Right Side of Roadway and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
  • Officers were dispatched to PNC Bank for a report of a woman urinating behind a dumpster. Officers located the 32-year-old woman and cited her for Disorderly Conduct.
  • Officers responded to 51 Ash Circle for a road rage incident. Both parties were in the parking lot and a woman said that a 37-year-old man had kicked her car, causing damage. The man was cited for criminal mischief.
  • Officers were dispatched to Giant for a retail theft in progress. The manager advised that the 52-year-old woman was pushing a full shopping cart down York Road. An officer saw the woman and stopped her. She provided False Identification and when an Officer searched her drug paraphernalia was found. The female was placed under arrest and charged with Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and illegal use of a shopping cart.
  • A police officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at Evergreen and Aspen Roads. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell alcohol on the driver. The 67-year-old man agreed to field sobriety testing. The man was arrested and transported back to headquarters. At headquarters, he refused a blood draw. The man will be charged with DUI.
  • A police officer observed a known wanted person riding a bicycle at York & Nemoral Street. The officer asked the 42-year-old man to stop and advised him that there was an active warrant for him out of Montgomery County for a parole violation. After placing the man in handcuffs, a search was conducted, and suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. The man was transported back to Headquarters to await pick up by Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.
  • Bucks County Dispatched received a call from TD Bank for fraud in progress. When officers arrived, they met with a 21-year-old woman who was attempting to withdraw cash using Identification that did not belong to her. The woman was placed under arrest and transported back to headquarters to await arraignment.
  • Police responded to Windsor Road for a report of a 17-year-old man fighting with family members. He was placed in custody and will be charged with Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct.
  • On a routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle with a counterfeit inspection leaving Motel 6. The officer stopped the vehicle, and the operator provided his information. It was determined that the 43-year-old operator was driving while his privilege was suspended. The driver signed a consent to search his vehicle and suspected marijuana was found, along with drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested and will be charged with possession of a small amount of Marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Violation of certificate of Inspection, and Driving while Operating Privilege is suspended.
  • Officers responded to Aspen Grove Apartments for a report of a hit-and-run accident. A woman had followed a vehicle that had struck her vehicle and left the area. A 20-year-old man was cited for an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or property, Duty to Give or Render Aid, and Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. The other driver, a 42-year-old woman, was cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
  • Officers responded to Street and St. Davids for a report of an unconscious man behind the wheel of a running vehicle. The vehicle was stopped in the roadway and vehicles were driving around it. Officers woke the 36-year-old driver and advised they were placing him under arrest for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances. The man consented to a blood draw and the blood was submitted to the lab along with suspected drugs. Charges are to be filed pending lab results.
  • An officer responded to Giant for a retail theft in progress. When officers arrived the store manager advised that the subject had left the store and was walking near Graziano Flowers. The subject started to run, and a pursuit began. The officers caught the subject, and it was discovered that there were numerous warrants for the 24-year-old man. The man was searched and controlled substances and paraphernalia were found on him. The man will be charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Retail Theft.
