Rubber Ducky Regatta 2019 Scheduled In Warminster

A horde of rubber ducks will race a quarter-mile down Neshaminy Creek, with the winners earning cash for their owners.

WARMINSTER, PA — Ladies and gentlemen, start your rubber duckies.

Officials in Warminster have set a date for the 24th annual Rubber Ducky Regatta. The fun, if somewhat silly, local tradition will see a horde of rubber ducks racing a quarter-mile down Neshaminy Creek, with the owners of the top finishers winning prizes.

The Rubber Ducky Regatta is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at Kemper Park.

Sponsored by the Warminster Parks & Recreation Department and Citadel, the family event will be preceded by the Just Ducky Picnic. Residents are invited to bring a picnic lunch. There will be desserts provided by Perkins Restaurant, A-1 Pest Control and Rita's Water Ice.

The first four ducks to cross the finish line in the regatta will win cash prizes for their owners.

You may buy ducky number tickets at the Warminster Library, at Citadel on Street Road or from Warminster Parks & Recreation. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.

The first place finisher will win its owner $200. Second place is $150, third wins $100 and fourth place gets $50.
