SEPTA Ending Free Regional Rail Parking In Philly Region
Regional rail parking has been free since the pandemic at SEPTA stations throughout the Philadelphia region.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —SEPTA Regional Rail commuters in the Philadelphia region will soon have to pay for parking once again.
SEPTA has announced that it would end free parking that was established since the pandemic at its parking lots where regional rail service is offered.
"During our budget hearings last month, we stated that we would return to paid parking at our lots at some point during the upcoming fiscal year," said Andrew Busch, SEPTA's director of media relations.

Busch said that no date has been set yet to end the free parking.
He said that once the date is established, there will be an extensive public outreach campaign beforehand to make sure riders have notice and can plan for it.

Area Regional Rail Lines
- The Warminster line serves Hatboro and Warminster, among other towns.
- The Trenton Line has stops in Bristol, Croydon, and Bensalem before heading to Philadelphia.
- The West Trenton Line has stops at Yardley, Woodbourne, Langhorne, Neshaminy Falls, and Trevose stations in Lower Bucks County.
- The Lansdale/Doylestown Line has stops in Doylestown, New Britain, Chalfont, Colmar, Lansdale, North Wales, Ambler, Fort Washington, Oreland, North Hills, Glenside, Jenkintown, and Elkins Park.
- Other impacted lines include the Airport Line, Chestnut Hill East and West lines, Paoli/Thorndale line, Media/Wawa Line, Manayunk/Norristown line, and the Fox Chase line.
