Patch has reached out to the FBI for comment about the investigation.

NBC10 Philadelphia reported that court documents indicate that the FBI began the investigation after receiving a tip in September.

KYW NewsRadio said that the FBI investigation claimed that Zenszer shared "several videos and images" of suspected child pornography on the messaging platform, Kik.

Zenszer was expected to be in court Tuesday for a hearing on the charges, the news outlet reported.
