Stormwater Improvements Begin In 2 Lower Bucks Towns

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Stormwater improvements are planned this week for two Lower Bucks County communities, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that stormwater improvements will begin Monday on Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway) and Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) in Middletown and Warminster townships under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, March 25, through Friday, April 19, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way in Middletown Township.
• Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) between Route 132 (Street Road) and Steamboat Drive in Warminster Township.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All work is weather-dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
