Stream Clean-Up Planned In Warminster Saturday

The annual stream cleanup will take place behind the Warminster Town Center on Street Road on Nov. 23.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Township Environmental Advisory Committee and Warminster Municipal Authority will hold its annual stream clean-up event next weekend.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.

All residents are welcome to participate in the community environmental initiative.

The Stream Clean-Up meetup location will be behind the Five Below store located at the far end of the Warminster Town Center on Street Road.

Clothing and shoes appropriate for outdoor work are recommended, and children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Light refreshments will be provided.

“We invite the community to join us for a morning of community camaraderie and environmental stewardship to help ensure a cleaner, greener environment!” said John Magee, a member of the Warminster Township Environmental Advisory Committee. “We welcome environmental stewards of all ages to participate in this important initiative to keep our Township’s streams clean."

Those interested in participating should register and complete a Pre-Registration/Waiver at www.warminsterauthority.com.

Warminster Municipal Authority approved public participation stormwater credit will be issued to participants.
