BUCKS COUNTY, PA —As the three-day Memorial Day holiday weekend begins, restaurants in Bucks County are rolling out new menus while others are touting a summer favorite: Ice Cream.

A Warminster bakery has unveiled its new Ice Cream Courtyard.

Meanwhile, Maxwell's on Main now features summer-ready new menus at its Doylestown location. There are signs of life of new businesses coming to Newtown as well.

And for those who live further away from Bensalem and Fairless Hills, a new Raising Cane's chicken fingers location is under construction near the Willow Grove Mall in nearby Montgomery County. It will be the county's first Raising Cane's location.

Maxwell's On Main Debuts Summer Ready New Menus In Doylestown

Maxwell's On Main (MOM's) is reintroducing itself this weekend as a casual destination for dining, drinks, delivery, and private and social gatherings. The multi-floor historic building at 37 North Main St. has been home to MOM's since 2010, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in Doylestown Borough. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

New Business Signs Show "Coming Soon" In Newtown

The signs are up and in place. Now it’s just a matter of time until the doors swing open at four new Newtown Township businesses. By far the largest sign belongs to the Capital Grille, which continues to renovate the former Pier One store at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center on Eagle Road. Abortion Clinic In Lower Bucks Closing End of June

One of Bucks County's two abortion clinics will be closing toward the end of next month, Planned Parenthood Keystone has announced. Planned Parenthood Keystone cited "challenging times" in its decision to shut its Warminster Health Center at 610 Louis Drive on June 28. Once it closes, Planned Parenthood Keystone will have one remaining Bucks County location at 2185 Galloway Road in Bensalem Township. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Raising Cane's Begins Construction On 1st Montco Location

Construction has begun on the first Raising Cane's location in Montgomery County. Ground has been cleared and construction crews have started for the chicken fingers chain, which has expanded into the Philadelphia region and Delaware over the past year. Ice Cream Courtyard Opens At Warminster Bakery

The Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe in Warminster has unveiled its Ice Cream “Mr. Ed” door in the Courtyard of its Old York Road location for the season. The bakery serves Giffords of Maine ice cream. The bakery said in a Facebook post that ice cream is defined as a soft frozen food made with sweetened and flavored milk fat.

"Growing up here in America, we all know ice cream is so much more than that," the bakery owners said. "Ice cream is an experience. It’s winning or losing the baseball game. It’s an affordable family outing after going weeks separated by the demands of living. It’s putting down our phones. It’s a hug after a hard day or a high five after overcoming challenges. Ice cream brings families together it makes the lonely feel less alone. There’s always a good reason for ice cream."
