There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA — Fall is a great time to get outside in Warminster Township and take in the rich offering of festivals.

The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.

Fall is also the season for corn mazes, apple orchard and pumpkin patch visits.

There are many pumpkin patches to check out around the township.

Before you go, though, don't be surprised if pumpkin prices are on the rise.

Here are a few festivals and events in Warminster Township worth putting on the calendar:

At Solly Brothers, while apple picking is closed for the season, pepper and pumpkin picking is still going on this weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hayrides around the farm will also be going on at that time as well.

• The Miracle League of Northampton Township is also holding its annual Halloween Bash on Oct. 29.
• Visit Bucks County has 10 perfect places to see the fall foliage.
• Lower Bucks has a long list of festivals and family events to enjoy the fall.
• The Delaware Canal is a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon. It was named the trail of the year in Pennsylvania.

For those who like haunted tours, there are a few nearby.

• The Landis Ridge Tunnel in Perkasie has stories of ghostly sightings.
• The Historic Langhorne Association is hosting ghost tours through Oct. 30.
