Threat To 'Kill' Officer, Indecent Assault Top Warminster Crimes

WARMINSTER, PA —A Philadelphia woman is in Bucks County Prison after she threatened to kill one of the police officers on the scene of a disturbance at a township home last month.

Warminster Township Police charged the woman with defiant trespass and terroristic threats after police were dispatched to a Kingsley Drive home for the report of a known subject who was previously advised they were not to be on the property.

Police officers made contact with the 49-year-old Philadelphia woman regarding the incident.

While speaking with the woman, she made a statement threatening to kill one of the officers on the scene. She was taken into custody and transported to the Bucks County Prison.

That was one incident police handled as the Warminster Township Police Department Monday released its police blotter of criminal incidents for the period of June 26 to July 7.

These are the criminal incidents:

Public Drunkenness —Police responded to the area of the 300 block of Aspen Street for the report of an intoxicated subject sleeping in a resident’s yard. The man eventually left the yard and was found in the area under some trees. Upon making contact, the 40-year-old Warminster man was cited for public drunkenness and transported home.

Disorderly Conduct —Police were dispatched to the high school for a student that had pulled the fire alarm. After investigating, a 16-year-old Warminster boy was cited with disorderly conduct for pulling the fire alarm for no legitimate reason.

Sexual Offense Arrest —Police conducted an investigation of alleged sexual offenses against another person. After completing an investigation, a 69-year-old Warminster man was charged with indecent assault.

Dog/Animal Law Violations —Police responded to the area of Honey Suckle Drive for the report of several dogs who attacked another dog. After investigating and follow up by the Animal Control Officer multiple citations were issued to the attacking dog’s owner, a 40-year-old Hatboro man.

Defiant Trespass —Police were dispatched to the Holiday Inn for a known subject who was not a guest eating at the breakfast bar for hotel guests. The man was previously told not to return to the property. The 32-year-old man was cited for defiant trespass.

Dog/Animal Law Violations —Police and the Animal Control Officer received the report of possibly eight dogs running loose in the area of June Road. The owner was located, and the dogs were eventually retrieved. After investigating the incident, the owner, a 67-year-old Warminster man was cited for the violations that had occurred.

Disorderly Conduct —Police were dispatched to a fight that had allegedly occurred at a local carnival. After investigating, a 15-year-old Warrington boy was cited with disorderly conduct and harassment for his reported actions involving this incident.

Violation of Court Order —Officers investigated a violation of a protection order issued by the court. After investigating the incident, a 39-year-old Warminster man was taken into custody for the violation and charged with indirect criminal contempt.

Underage Drinking Offense —Police conducted a traffic stop for motor vehicle violations on the 500 block of W. Street Road, while speaking to the occupant(s) The officer found an 18-year-old man had been drinking and was in possession of alcohol as well. The 18-year-old Warminster man was cited for underage drinking and possession of alcohol being under the age of 21. He was later released to a family member who responded.

Unlawful Use of Consumer Fireworks —Police were dispatched to the area of Catalpa Road for the report of damage that had occurred to a vehicle in the area from suspected fireworks use by another person. After investigating, a 30-year-old Warminster man was cited for the fireworks use violation.

Catalytic Converter Theft —Police were dispatched to the area of Dick Avenue for the report of a catalytic converter that was stolen from 2009 Toyota Prius that was parked in the area. The theft occurred sometime between July 1 and July 2.

Stolen License Plate —Police were dispatched to take the report of a stolen license plate that was removed from a trailer parked in front of a home on Fairfield Drive. The complainant reported the license plate was unlawfully removed sometime between June 21 and July 3rd by an unknown party. The registration plate was entered into the national system as stolen at this time.
