Titanic-Themed Gala To Benefit Warminster Museum

"A Night To Remember" on Saturday will feature an actor who was in the best-selling movie, and Titanic artifacts.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum (NADC Museum) is taking a step back in time for its annual Titanic-themed gala this weekend.

"A Night To Remember" will feature cuisine from the time the Titanic roamed the ocean on its historic voyage, live music, Titanic artifacts and Actor Lewis Abernathy, who starred in the best-selling Hollywood movie.

The event takes place from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday at the Philmont Country Club on 301 Tomlinson Road in Huntingdon Valley.

The gala benefits the museum's STEM-based educational programs and contributes to its capital campaign to expand the museum building.

Organizers said the evening connects naval history, elegant dining, and community support for STEM education and the museum’s capital campaign.

The event features:

  • A seven-course meal
  • Period music performed by members of the Warminster Symphony
  • People dressed in Edwardian attire
  • A display of Titanic artifacts on loan from noted expert & collector Craig Sopin
  • SPECIAL GUEST Lewis Abernathy, best known for his role as treasure hunter Lewis Bodine in the blockbuster film Titanic. Abernathy will talk about the making of this film and his real-life adventures exploring shipwrecks worldwide.
