Veterans Scam Alert Issued In Warminster

Warminster Township officials said that the Veteran Affairs agency is reporting a scam targeting veterans involving fraudulent postcards.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Warminster Township officials are alerting about a scam targeting military veterans.

Officials said the national Veteran Affairs agency is reporting the scam that involves fraudulent postcards being sent to veterans.

Those postcards claim that military veterans and their spouses are entitled to “extra VA benefits” or additional payments, including CHAMPVA, TRICARE, and dental coverage, regardless of a VA disability rating.
