Warminster 'Bark Park' Gate Damaged By Vandals
The vandalism at the township's dog park, on Veterans Way, has happened over the past three weeks.
WARMINSTER, PA — The main entry gate to Warminster's dog park was temporarily shut down Wednesday after being damaged by vandals, township officials said.
In a message to residents, officials said the damage to the gate at the Bark Park, on Veterans Way, has happened in "numerous incidents" over the past three weeks.
"(W)e are counting on all members, for the safety of your dogs, to do your best to ensure that only members are using the park," township officials said in the message.

They said a locksmith had been called to fix the gate and that the vandalism appears to have been intended to block or damage the magnet that locks the gate. Anyone who sees someone tampering with the gate is encouraged to call 911 immediately, officials said.
At the fenced-in, off-leash dog park, members must register with the township and attend at least one workshop prior to getting a key card to use the park. The purpose of the workshops is to ensure the safety of all dogs and owners at the park, officials say.
