Warminster Contractor Pleads Guilty To Defrauding Customer
A Warminster contractor took more than $27,000 from an area homeowner but never finished repairs, authorities say. He has pleaded guilty.

A Warminster contractor has pleaded guilty to felony charges after authorities say he took money from a Montgomery County homeowner without finishing promised repairs, according to a report by The Intelligencer
Robert Kernaghan, 59, was charged last year with receiving advance payment for services never performed, we well as theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking, court records show.
Kernaghan, who operated a company called Exterior Specialties, did not complete home improvements but accepted more than $27,000 from an Abington homeowner for various work, including roofing, siding and new windows, a resident there reported to police in 2015.

Kernaghan has not yet been sentenced but could go to jail for 8½ to 17 years, according to The Intelligencer.
