Emergency Declared In Warminster Ahead Of Incoming Snowstorm
This means drivers cannot park on roads or streets, so as to let snowplows through. Violators will be towed.
WARMINSTER, PA — Warminster Township officials have declared a snow-related emergency with the incoming winter storm, which could bring more than 5 inches of snow to communities in Lower Bucks County.
Forecasters have issued a winter storm warning for Lower Bucks County beginning at 4 a.m. Friday morning, due to dangerously icy conditions and the chance of 5 to 6 inches of snow accumulating.
The declaration of disaster emergency for Warminster is from 4 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19 until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20.

During a snow-related emergency, it is unlawful to park on any township streets or roads, per township ordinance No. 756.
"We ask that you remove any vehicles from the street prior to the start of the declaration so that plowing operations can be done as safe and efficiently as possible," township officials said. "Vehicles found to be in violation and hindering plowing operations will be towed."

Also, no person moving snow or ice from public sidewalks or private property is allowed to "throw, shovel, push, plow or otherwise move snow or ice into the public street," per township ordinance Nos. 702-704.
